About Us
It was the result of a new 5 year high rise headquarters building project for Society Bank. Dave Edmonds, Sr. VP and head of Facilities asked Architect Bill Livingston, Sr. Project Manager, for a tool to manage their facility. Resource began operations in 1993 with a focus on building technology. Our first Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) application (the management tool) was delivered three months later. We called it RSIFM 1.0.
We have continued development and have published over 40 million square feet on the internet and now RSIFM is at version 6.0 as described in a summary graphic on the right. Our detailed graphic requires a full wall to display so we have described several parts in this website.
We have recently gone to the concept of Apps production so to break each effort down into smaller chuncks sold in an Apps Store.
